INDIA seeks VISA free access for pilgrims to Kartarpur...

Attari,( Punjab ) :  India on Thursday sought VISA-FREE access from Pakistan for 5,000  pilgrims per day to the historic Sikh shrine  in kartarpur. this was conveyed to the  Pakistani delegation at a meeting here to discuss the opening of a planned corridor for pilgrims between Punjab's Gurdaspur District and Kartarpur sahib across the BORDER.

This was the first meeting between India and Pakistan since tensions between the two countries was spiked after the terror Pulwama Attack,followed by retaliatory air strikes.

The historic Sikh shrine  in Kartarpur, is famously known because here the Sikhism's founder Guru Nanak Dev Ji spent the last yers of his life......
